Terms and Conditions

Assessment Booking T&C's

Sessions:

Our appointments last 50 minutes.

Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before the appointment.

For virtual appointments, you will be sent a link prior to the appointment. Please allow time to for any technical issues.

Payment and Cancellation Policy:

Payment is required prior to the assessment via bank transfer.

If you are unable to attend your appointment, we require 72 hours' notice.

Where there is less than 72 hours' notice or you do not attend your appointment, the full fee will be incurred.

If you are running late for your appointment, the session cannot be extended and will end at the planned time.

Counselling Sessions T&C's

Sessions:

Our appointments last 50 minutes.

You will be sent a link prior to the appointment.

Please allow time for any technical issues.

Face-to-Face sessions:

When attending the clinic, you will be asked to wait in the waiting area where your counsellor will come and collect you.

Please ensure that you arrive on time for your session.

If you are going to be late, please inform us as soon as you can.

Remote/virtual counselling:

Please log in to your session 5 minutes before the session is due to start so that the session can start on time.

Ensure you have some privacy; we advise using headphones and using a private space away from third parties.

Payments:

The sessions are to be paid upfront on booking.

We ask for this to be transferred via bank transfer.

Cancellation policy:

If you are unable to attend a counselling session, we ask you to provide a 72-hour notice.

Cancellations made with less than 72 hours' notice will be charged at full cost.

Where two consecutive sessions are missed, we may not be able to keep the regular slot open for you.

If we are unable to keep your regular slot open and you choose to return to counselling, we will try and get you booked in with a counsellor. However, it may be that we cannot allocate you the same counsellor you have had previously.

Our Commitment to You:

We will do our best to match you with a suitable counsellor who has the skill set that best suits your needs.

Your session with the counsellor is confidential. However, we will break this confidentiality if there is a risk of serious harm to yourself or others. If appropriate, we will discuss this break in confidentiality with you before we take any actions.

Following each session, your counsellor will enter session notes into our secure system. These will highlight the themes of the sessions and always stick to our privacy framework.

With You in Mind does not offer professional advice. Any information provided in the sessions should be used for informational purposes only.

You should seek professional advice from licensed professionals in the applicable area where you are seeking any professional advice.

With You in Mind does not offer medical advice, treatment, or diagnosis.

Ethical Practice:

With You in Mind follows the Ethical framework outlined by the BACP/HCPC.

The counsellors will also abide by these guidelines; however, they will additionally follow the ethical guidelines as set out by their training institutions.

Please let us know if you have a disability at the time of your booking so we can accommodate your needs.

Changes to Terms and Conditions:

With You in Mind reserves the right to make changes to these terms and conditions at any time.
